This is going to be my new site where I update my artwork on a regular basis.
Below I have posted one of my most recent paintings. I started working on this painting in the summer of 2016 when I was going through nursing school. This was a very difficult time. I originally drew in two colts (baby sand hill cranes). I quickly became frustrated with the composition and decided to remove one of the colts. Later in the spring of 2017 I found out my wife was pregnant with twins and decided to add the colt back in. This piece serves as a memorial for where I grew up. Sandhill cranes are everywhere in Florida. This piece is a two part testament to my longing for Florida and the blessing of having a family. “Morning Brunch” 18×24″ oil on panel.
